White Lotus Motors, the sole authorised distributor of Pure EV Brand Indian electric scooters in Nepal, recently organized a 'Green Mile Rally' to promote electric vehicles and create awareness regarding the Pure EV electric scooters.
The rally initiated from the company's showroom in Naxal passed through Narayanchaur, Kamalpokhari, Gyaneshwor, Gaushala, Airport, Lokanthali, Sanga, Banepa- Dhulikhel Lodge Resort (Dhulikhel), and back to Naxal for the completion.An average person saves an estimate of 50,000 per year by switching to Pure EV e-scooters from petrol scooters saving on fuel costs, says the company. Mr. Ashok Khadgi, Managing Director of White Lotus Motors said, "The electric two-wheeler industry has come a long way in Nepal, in just a short span of time. Nepal has always been forward-thinking in adopting newer technologies that are better and energy-efficient. With this being said, Pure EV scooters are definitely the best personal mobility solutions for Nepal."
Pure EV is expected to launch its newer model Etrance NEO in April 2021. The EPluto 7G is an all-electric scooter with 2,200 watt motor and a removable 60V 40AH Lithium-ion battery that can be recharged in 3.5 hours; which reaches 60 km/h top speed and 116 km driving range per charge.Pure EV scooters have achieved milestones in just a couple of months to get the registration of Nepal Government after passing the Road Worthiness Test and being financed by Four A-Class banks.
